Favorite writers include Pablo Neruda, Jonathan Safran Foer, Mary Oliver, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Amy Tan, Rumi, Nicole Krauss, and Tracy Letts. For inspiration I crank up Eva Cassidy, Etta James, Al Green, Macklemore, Erykah Badu, Adele, The Band, Michael Jackson, and all things 90′s hip hop, particularly The Notorious B. I.
